One owner, zero rust. (I acquired from original, female owner 16 years ago. The car has been stored in dry garage since) Mechanical condition excellent. Recent engine upgrades including new timing chains, sprockets, tensioners,
The ’70 (Warner type) transmission is an improvement over the earlier models having a more conventional sychro design. Also the improved 5th gear as well as “Double-nut” mainshaft make this the best choice for longevity. Suspension upgrades including New Competition Springs and Swaybar. New KYB high-pressure shocks (not the cheap ones that most venders sell).
All new exhaust system. All new brakes including New Nissan Master cylinder and New Calipers! Car was originally Sora blue. (and should be repainted same ) engine compartment remains the original color. Sheet metal is excellent and needs no bodywork but should be sanded and repainted to the original “Sky Blue”.
An estimate for same has been discussed recently. (Fenders have never been off and will not need to be removed due to excellent body condition) All brightwork is present and in good condition however Stainless steel side moulding should always be restored and polished during cosmetic restoration. One source states that there were only 92 left hand drive 2000 models produced prior to ceasing production to build the 1970 240Z.
New personal development makes this sale likely in near future.
